SUMMARY:Media and Elections - Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Nauru Electoral Commission under the Nauru Electoral Support Program held a Media Workshop on 15 and 16 May 2019. \n13 journalists from Nauru Media Bureau and 2 journalists from the Governmental Information Office attended.The workshop aimed to provide a solid understanding of the election process\, so that journalists can keep the public adequately informed by delivering clear and understandable messages. \n Attendees of the workshop \nIn his opening remarks the Electoral Commissioner\, Mr. Cain emphasized that the Commission is committed to providing a free\, fair and safe elections to the Nauruan community.
